Insurance confirmation 2025 / 2026We maintain substantial insurances written by an A grade UK insurer for your peace of mind. We hold £15m of products liability for your reassurance which is significantly more than our peer group. Our renewal date for insurances is 18th January.
Waste carrier's licenceContinental Sports creates minimal waste on site - we use re-usable packaging wherever possible that we take back to our factory to use again. We therefore require a waste carrier's licence. Our licence is valid until April 2026
Acclaim SSIP H&S certificateAcclaim certification. Continental is accredited to this SSIP Health & Safety scheme
CSCS cardsContinental Sports Ltd's site operatives are no longer permitted by CSCS to hold CSCS cards as our activity is no longer considered "Construction Related" - we have provided correspondence with CSCS confirming this is the case and the CSCS website confirms there is no card for "Gym and Sports Equipment Installer": https://www.cscs.uk.com/applying-for-cards/non-construction-related-occupations/non-construction-occupations/. We make alternative provisions as all our site operatives are SSSTS or 1-day CITB H&S certified
CHASWe have CHAS accreditation to confirm compliance with SSIP Core Criteria and UK H&S Legislation
