Padded tension clamp cover for the tension clamp used with all climbing frames that utilise an overhead tensioning cable - rope frames, cantilevered beam units, hinged timber frames and Two-in-Ones.

The standard wall fixed tension clamp is a metal clamp fixed to the wall to the side of the frames and is used to put tension in the overhead cable to stabilise the apparatus.
Many facilities now choose to have that tension clamp padded to reduce the risk of injuries from users of the facility - both those using the wall hinged apparatus and also other users of the room when the apparatus is not being used.
This padded cover is a lacquered timber box upholstered in foam and covered with red PVC. The cover hinges open to expose the clamp and can be closed with the cable tensioned so that the clamp handle is padded when the frame is in use and when it is stored against the wall.
The price is shown for a tension clamp cover on a supply only basis (or for one purchased and installed at the same time as a new frame). The cover is straightforward to self-install be removing the exising clamp, fixing the cover to the wall and re-attaching the clamp.
